What a weak argument. The arsenal players didn't know they ref was wearing a microphone.
None of them at a guess were covering their mouths to avoid lips being read either.
Your grievance about football players needing to mature is very like the football authorities, who've said football fans lack the decorum of rugby fans. Lower class peoples.
You argument is based on one example where one team didn't know the referees communication was being recorded.
That wouldn't occur if VAR was broadcast to the public. Given the big pr departments and the fact everyone would know the refs are wearing microphones. If it did occur players can be penalised.
Reality is Rugby's var works well because it is open and transparent.
The referees question to the VAR are open and that first line of communication let's everyone know where the ref stands and what the VAR is being asked.
This open process leads to higher performance and better reviews.
The goal v spurs as an example of their hidden communications being made open to the public exemplifies how broadcasting the discussion would produce higher results.
You seem to be uncomfortable with consipary claims and are seeking votes whilst running no comment on the Epstein scandal that involved the Royals (Andrew & the late Queen) and numerous politicos with child sexual abuse.
But hey some arsenal players spoke with a potty mouth back in 1989 when they didn't know they were being recorded.
Got to protect the children, you say with a hint of insincerity
