There was an article a few years back where someone laid (bet against) the early favourite whenever their was a 'next manager' market. Showed massive profits.

I'd expect the experts have probably tightened up that particular line since.

He's the standout candidate if we don't get Alonso and if (if!) he can maintain his current trajectory then whoever hires him is laughing - he has so, so much time on his hands.

Will have to prove to the wider World that he isn't a Villas-Boas repeat of course.

No I can't find it now, it was a few years ago when perhaps betting on next manager was a fairly new thing.
