Macca was at his worst form for us when he was forced to take on the No6 role.
It clearly doesn't suit his game and he doesn't have great instincts for it, which is why he thrives when he was someone else taking on that role beside him.
And for that matter Fabby wasn't a terrible 6 either.
We won a Champions League, Premiere League, World Club championship, FA Cup with him playing there and routinely would have among the best defensive record in the league.
