what pisses me off. the owners may own the club. its actually the size of importance of this great club that makes the money for HIM and his hangers on.

Edwards and Hughes would be in the owners good books surely.
Question for you jr81 - what would be a good/acceptable window, if the monetary aspect was our unit of measurement?

He is purposefully and wilfully not asking that.

He has asked for a number based purely on the monetary aspect - with that being the only unit by which to measure. .

It’s a trick - oft used by politicians when confronted with an uncomfortable truth.

Change the narrative by moving the subject slightly across into an area that can easily be rubbished

    Zing! Very good.

Sincerely though, don't mean for starters, talking about by the time we reach the close of the window.

I don't think I have heard anyone provide a clear number (or if I have, I have forgotten) - aka "if we spent £50m net per season I'd be happy" or "anything less than £25m is net is awful" or "we should spend "£80m net per season" - is there a ball-park area where you would say "that's about right" in your mind?

spend some money? sorry being pedantic..its rather ironic. Henry comes over to try and sign Caicedo for over an 100 million.and since then we signed Endo and thats it.

True, business has been poor this window, thus far - and the clock is ticking.

Would you have a ball-park figure per Summer window in mind, net?

No judgement at all if you wouldn't - every window we have different needs, so I can understand the amount varying.
