I don't think I have heard anyone provide a clear number (or if I have, I have forgotten) - aka "if we spent £50m net per season I'd be happy" or "anything less than £25m is net is awful" or "we should spend "£80m net per season" - is there a ball-park area where you would say "that's about right" in your mind?
