Question for you jr81 - what would be a good/acceptable window, if the monetary aspect was our unit of measurement?

I think a club of Liverpool’s size and stature should be easily spending £60m+ on a summer transfer window (unless the previous season we won absolutely every trophy available and you could argue the squad is perfect) and that is excluding any monies generated by sales.

No judgement at all if you wouldn't - every window we have different needs, so I can understand the amount varying.

Improve the team where it is needed. Improve the squad where it is needed.
Trim the squad of deadwood.

Exactly Sid, every window is different so you can't put money on it. However this window I would have expected a few players in. At what cost I don't know. But I'm more for improving the team and squad over actual monetary value.

For example of we sold 5 players but bought 3 for the same amount. Those 3 were 2 improvements if the team and 1 improvement in the squad with a net spend of 0. I would be happy.
