I think Pre- season was very encouraging and lets not forget, this very same squad were fighting on all four fronts last season and looking good until late March early April, despite injuries to several key players.

I'm talking from Slot's perspective. I imagine he looked at that Liverpool job offer and current squad and thought he's not going to get any better offers in his life to take over a club.

Klopp took over a bad squad. I don't think anyone would say otherwise.

I thought arsenals squad was better last year as well. They were and still are lacking a proper striker. But as a whole I believe they have a better squad last year and more so last year.

We don't really know how strong their 'squad' is as it was never really stretched over the season.

It would be interesting to see how they would cope if they lost, Saliba, Oddegard and Saka together for any length of time.

Ya your right, it's a good squad, maybe very good. Maybe it's semantics. I just don't see it as a dream squad. Great starting point for him though.

Most would agree we need 1 cb, at least 1 cm, and after the last year a striker. We have no back up to salah either.

Very Impressed with him today he let his team do the talking . Went straight down the tunnel at full time which he maybe should've acknowledged the away fans, he knows he's not Jurgen but a wave wouldn't have hurt !!
