I agree with the money aspect. We're in a tough situation with those 3.
From a purely playing standpoint, some of you have Bradley starting over Trent these days. Would you have a problem with Bradley starting if Trent went to Madrid and we got a small fortune this summer?
VVD and Salah are at an age where their form will drop off soon. Virgil has lost pace after that injury though he's still quality. Quansah has done superbly well since coming in to the side. Again, I wouldn't have an issue with him starting and replacing VVD long term. We'd still need a CB but I'm not convinced we need to spend a fortune to get one.
Replacing Salah is nearly impossible. We haven't really replaced Mane or Firmino. Sometimes you have to change the system a bit rather than look for direct replacements. Maybe we have to buy a winger and depend more on a number 9 to get the goals. Lots of ways to approach it.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.
this is fucking ridiculous.. the owner wanted to pay 100 million for a player. so theres money there. where the fuck IS IT?
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
reports we are intresred in Gonçalo Bernardo Inácio ...don't know if hes any good??

He has the potential to become elite - but still needs further development. Pretty typical "might become great, get him before he costs £100m" sort of target that we seem to like in that approximately 22-26 age range.
To answer your question about the willingness to spend big last season and wondering where the money is, it's worth remembering that the agreement in principle for Caicedo occured in early-mid August. Later in the window we spent £54.5m on Gravenberch and Endo - so although finances are more complicated than this, I'd say a good chunk of the money we would have committed on Caicedo will have gone there.
Pretty much agree with all of that. I think the fact that Gravenbirch looks better under Slot than he did under Jurgen is interesting, because of the difference in system. And Endo looks much more confused about his role, whereas last year he seemed pretty good. I think we do need another number 6 to come in, and I think that will still happen. In worst case scenario I think Bajcetic will do it.
I don't believe in getting players in for the sake of it, to 'freshen things up', if their not an upgrade.
I don't even bother reading FSG out threads. They have made some mistakes, super league and stuff, but they have overseen a period of success unparalleled in the last thirty years, while upgrading the stadium. I think signing that Georgian keeper is a very astute move too (don't know if it's a 'done deal').
This forum has went into meltdown !!

: Liverpool keep working on several opportunities in the market, I would keep the door open for movement in the final two weeks of the window.
Not only in midfield, but also other positions!👀⌛️
Read an article earlier saying mg Valencia,Centa and Sevilla are interested in Bacjetic on loan.
If he went home to Spain I'd be surprised if he came back.
