carragher was very limited one of our own no disrepect but it's the truth- AND if we had better owners & had money and was competing for the league etc, he wouldn't have made the starting 11, he would not have in the last seasons with us.

He was absolutely electric when he arrived. Has had to deal with plenty of major setbacks in his short time here. That nasty injury and long lay off then compounded by what looks like rank amateurs - trying to nurse him into fitness when surgery was always going to be needed..and back to zero.

Then back on the horse and looking good - and his parents are kidnapped. Can't catch a break.

He has the tools to be a monster player for us... let's hope this is the season.

Personally I'd Gravenberch as my man of the match. He covers the ground well and was always showing for the ball.
As for Diaz, I've always liked him. Maybe it's because he's a flair player, something that we are seeing less and less of.
2 games, 2 wins and onto Old Trafford .
