I always thought we beat his Ajax side very easily under Jurgen too

MOTD, saying Slot inherited a much better team which though true … Ten Hag has had 3 years and Ł616m to bring in his own players.
Surely they should be much better than they are if he’s even remotely up to it.

He’s spent more (net) than Jurgen did in eight years already

Yet they have no apparent style of play

Motd gave us hardly any credit at all. Yes Casemiro give the ball away for the first goal, but if Gravenberch hadn't been on the front foot and anticipated the pass it may never of happened. We pressed them all day.

I know & Gravenberch picked up Mainoo while remaining aware of their players wide also & quite brilliantly intercepted it

We used the kidology really well at times today, Casemiro was clueless that Grav was alert to the pass out to the wide player thrn as soon as he hit it, whoosh

Honestly mate, I watched him live last week and Grav gets around the pitch so quick ,he was my MOTM last week and today he was brilliant. He's big and strong even Carra commented on him being like Patrick Viera. He's having a great start to the season.

Today’s result is made even better by Ten Hag knocking Slot in an interview somewhere 2 or 3 weeks back saying his Feyenoord side & their football weren’t all that last season 😂

All of that’s why I wanted us to sign him, he has absolutely everything he needs to become one of the world’s very best midfielders, just needs games confidence to keep working hard to be the very best he can be, brilliant he has a player like Mac alongside him whose influence will no doubt rub off on him

I really hope he continues to go from strength ti strength

All our young lads including Trent really need to kick the arse out of it now & work harder than ever to become the best possible players they can be
