He is only 21 of course.
I wonder what his ideal position is, because so far it is unclear. I remember seeing him on the right wing a lot yesterday and it took me a minute to realise who it was out there.

Better suited to games that open up so far. The talent is there - hopefully more time around the squad, more appearances and possibly more gym time help to up his level a bit.
Lack of pre-season is a good shout. Klopp is happy to be patient with players until they are 100% ready so we'll likely see Gravenberch play a bit part role between now and the end of the season. Unless we get even more injuries that we already have.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.

    I’m
Not going to change my mind on this one , I think gravenberch is going to be immense for us , no real pre season and he’s in and out a lot , I think after another few months and an extended run in the team your going to see a different player

He’s the player I wanted as Gini’s replacement as I felt he could play as a No8 or No6 & had better medium to long passing & switches than Gini so once he nailed down a role & tightened up his positioning & reading of everything it in a system to Gini levels he’d prove to be a significant upgrade

Still needs to keep working on his positioning & reading of it & when he has to stay with or go to a man (in advance of him receiving the ball) & on the understanding between he & Mac especially but he’s making good progress & he’s playing some great passes as is Mac

I believe he's benefited from Slot and the tactics, some players will suit a different manager more than others.

Some players have everything but need the right manager & guidance to put it all together

He's been brilliant this season, who knows he may eclipse the" Fabulous" one as a top midfielder for us. He's going the right way though.
