Going to be tough second half, but come on lads. Attacking the kop end. Maybe.
Spot on. It was always going to be a tough ask after going down to 10 men so early. What a great effort from the players.

The glory hunters on this thread showed their true colours today. Absolute disgrace.

Agree with Miller. Considering we played with 10 for 80 minutes it's a good result. Fulham are no mugs either, they'll take points of other teams around us too. It's was always going to be a tricky one, we might have stuttered a bit but aslong as it doesn't last long it'll be fine.

It's probably unlikely but a signing or two in January would be huge I think. A full back and midfielder just to ease the pressure and give some rest when required.
Hopefully some key players sit out the Saints game.

So unlucky not to come away with all 3 points, the lads give it a right fucking go of it which was great to see. After 30 minutes I'd of gladly taken a point, there's definitely a bit of steel about this Slot Liverpool.
    We go again.

All could have been so different had the officials sent off Pereira before he scored.

Was out doing wildlife photography for a chunk of the day - often do that or something similar when it's a 3pm Saturday match.

I see we drew - frustrating. Dropped points are.

However, seems we were without Robbo for most of the game and came from behind twice - so a point gained in my eyes.

Arsenal drew too. It could definitely be a lot worse. If Chelsea fail to win tomorrow (I don't think they will to be fair, I think they'll beat Brentford) then not too bad a weekend really.

Still top of the League, still top in the Champion's League, Arsenal and Man City still at bay, Jota back and Chiesa able to be on the bench.

Let's have a win against Southampton to get us one step closer to a League Cup Final and let's beat an inconsistent Tottenham after that to keep ourselves in a good spot.

Bradley made a fine tackle that game. But don’t say so Trent sucks lmao. You’ve got blinders on that he is shite, how many career assists does he have?

Who will you piss on next year? Most neutrals would take him in a heartbeat into their squads. RM know his game and want him to replace club legend Carvajal. You should send Madrid your hot take on Trent. Surely they will
sour on him. And yes we are generally better with him. His CAREER proves it. If Slot doesn’t believe that than he will let him go on a free.
Slot doesn't believe in him enough for him to get a full 90 minutes in most games.

That just shows you how much he "improves" our team or how much the notion that.... "we are generally better with him"... .. is really worth.

He was awful in this game and you're plainly and patently delusional if you believe otherwise, and these kinds of games from him are more the norm nowadays than the "Hollywood pass" or "Worldie freekick" games he has ever more rarely and less often than not.
The ones that people like yourselves love to hang that hat on that he's important to this team.
Ironically, it's the blind devotion and unending support from people like yourselves and the aversion to criticizing him that's made him the worse player he is today than years ago when he first broke into the first team.

If he does leave on a free (which seems likely), our team will actually improve by subtraction - especially if we get a half decent replacement who can actually DEFEND,.... and isn't allergic to the notion of grafting, tracking back to help teammates and cover - especially when it's you who's blown your assugnment - and is generally football intelligent.

Conor Bradley already surpassed him on most of these marks and with a decent replacement for Trent who can provide competition and is also bit more durable, that would be the start towards improving our backline.
It's no coincidence that when Trent was out injured and Conor was the starter at RB, the goals we were conceding from the right flank dropped precipitously, and now that the reverse has happened with Conor injured and Trent back in the starting lineup we've conceded from that side in consecutive games, and even the goal today that was conceded from the left orginated from his laziness on the right facilitating that cross in from which it was scored.

And I couldn't give two shits if Real Madrid want him. I watch him week in and week out. They don't.
Barcelona wanted Coutinho from us too. How'd that work out for them?
Just because a Spanish team wants a player from us whose flaws and shortcomings are glaring and obvious to us but not to them, doesn't sudenly validate them (the player) as suddenly beign worldbeaters.

I'll give them credit though for being smart enough to wait until his contract runs out to get him on a FREE, because that shows exactly what his worth is both to them and in general.
Any club worth their salt would be insane to pay any sort of transfer fee for this version of Trent.

No doubt you'll see it later, but Robbo deserved the Red. A bad first touch and Wilson got the ball and he brought him down ,Last msn ,Red card.
After that we were all over the place until half time and were lucky to go in 1-0 down.
2nd half we came out like a Jurgen team . Blew them away with a early goal then kept pressing. They hit us down our right were Trent was awful all day and got a second. From there on me made changes and Jota was electric getting our 2nd and we pushed for a 3rd but sadly it never came.
2 points dropped at home all because Robbo got sent off, We'd of won if we had 11 men on the pitch but we take the point and move on.
2 points out of the last 6 after beating City. How things can change quickly.

Excellent scraped point, 0 -1 then with ten men you don't expect much.
Really can't talk about tactics, movement or positional play, but good old fashioned heart and grit.
OK we have a good share of good players that are adequate and we need to bring in (or through) quality players.
But today was all about never give in and battling.
I really loved the effort today, well done to the lads.

They are a bunch of fucking cunts.. The ref only booked Diop so then he can say" he dealt with the situation and the var couldn't really say well reconsider the decision.. and PS it was to "early" in the game..
First things first.. Players DO NOT get sent off against us
Secondly, The PGMOL know a good few games here and we would be in a massive position in the league. they simply are not gonna allow it.
I don't swear in normal life.. But they make me fucking sick..we make mistakes i accept that. Its the fouls and the bookings that get me most annoyed..
