Lots of talk about best forwards in the PL recently with Salah, and more generally best 11s.

So looking for an 11, a formation and some waffle.

My best 11:

Gone for Peter, over Ali & others. He was a great defensive sweeper keeper. Think he'd compliment a rather attacking side. I gather most would acknowledge Ali as the best.

Gerrard & Bale at full back. In terms of quality and commitment I'd opt for them over Cole & Trent.

Rio to Partner VVD no1. Rio pace a strong benefit in his selection.

Double pivot of Rodri & Keane, mint. Whilst there's no fair weather players in my 11. These 2 would really compliment the attacking strengths.

Salah, Suarez, Henry & Suarez likewise. Suarez likely contested outside of LFC. Think Shearer deserves the nod, if it ain't Suarez.

Many great players omitted. But that's my opening best 11. Open to corrections/suggestions/waffle

Gerrard played right back twice, I'd have him at right back as I think he'd offer more than Trent.
Bale over Cole or Robbo likewise at left back.

Way I see it my goalie & a box 4 of VVD, Rio, Rodri & Keane offers the balance.

Front four stacked with quality, pace & aggression.

It's a tough challenge to pick an 11. That's mine.

I suspect 19s would be 433

It is a Your PL best 11 thread. It's a best 11 of PL players.

Bale doesn't get in ahead of Salah at rwf. So I've gone for him at left back given the spine in my team.

Others can pick their own 11 and argue they are stronger 11s if they want.

I'd argue Gerrard ar right back over Trent and other right back options makes for a better 11. Same with Bale at left back. Lots of options to pick from
