I''m in a current mood of taking on board the issues we currently have but are more relaxed about us sorting them out. Definitely in relation to our near title misses in the past 5 or 6 years.
This Forest team were in better form going into tonight's game than Utd or Spurs were prior to us playing them lately. We've both lost and had to nick the win last gasp at the City ground in recent seasons. Those were against much poorer Forest sides than we faced tonight.
There are concerns and I'm not going to totally dismiss them from other posters. However this isn't a season where the City juggernaut is on our heels which has made us feel massive pressure in recent years. Arne seems less hesitant to make changes when needed than Klopp and that payed immediate dividends for us again tonight.

Tonight isn't the night to discuss it, but I do wonder if it IS that, or is it that we are seeing "normal" results in a title race, rather than the freakish every-game-is-a-must-win that came with the Sportswashers and how they changed the League for the worse.

Mid-season isn't the time to analyse, but I wonder if maybe, just maybe, we are returning to normal services, where League titles are won with 82-86 points rather than needing nearly 100 to compete.

Something to revisit at a later stage - for all we know someone (Arsenal?) will win 16 on the bounce and dampen down my theory very fast.

They have a very winnable streak of games. And we know they are capable of putting a big run together. I know it sounds ott but I can help but think we have blown it. I just don’t see them continuing to make life easy for us.

    Perhaps.

This very moment it's 20 League games each (they'll of course play their 21st tomorrow) and we have a 7-point lead.

Whilst we may look over our shoulder when nights don't go exactly as we'd like, they'll fear that one round of weekend fixtures where we win and they don't.

A 10-point gap having played an equal number of games would be a huge gap for them psychologically when they have issues up front - and they'll definitely be worried about the possibility. They'll think that is "season over" in the League.

Hopefully we get back to winning ways and heap that pressure on.

They got Aston villa away and we have Brentford. I'd fancy us to get the 3 points over Arsenal getting 3.

Being realistic and lets face it. the league is between us and Arsenal.. we are 10 points a head of Chelsea with a game in hand.
    So they have no chance..

We’ve dropped 8 points in 7 games. You never can tell. We’ve struggled in plenty of games this season - not just the loss at home to Forrest - but games we have won and also those hard fought draws like at home to Fulham - at Newcastle - and home to United and again on the road tonight.. had to battle for the point - to go with the draw up the Arsenal.

If Salah is about to drop his form - we could have big problems ahead.

As unlikely as it seems I definitely wouldn't discount Forest.
