If Salah is about to drop his form - we could have big problems ahead.
Over the last 6 PL games only Newcastle & Forrest have won more points than us.

and after our two draws against Newcastle and Fulham, we went on a 3 game winning run the PL, which is a normal winning run in the league now that Manc115 aren't a thing (thankfully) this season....
Arsenal will drop points, so will we, and so will all the other teams at the top of the table now that it's a 'fairer & normal' league...

Love the media’s take on last nights game.

They make it sound like we were lucky to escape with a point.

We absolutely battered them and had it not been for their keeper would have won comfortably.

    71% possession

    23 shots to 6
    7 on target to 3

23 shots with only 7 on target is pretty woeful and Nunez wasn’t even playing.

Yes that’s true BUT also to be expected from the same media touting us as ‘the best in Europe.’

Goals: How many from open play v Forrest in 2 league games..? In fact it’s just the one goal from open play in 270 sequential minutes of football v the Filth - the Spuds and Forrest.

Fatigue…? Started the season like a freight train. Results wise if not performance wise. Could the pressure be telling? we’ve been here many times before.

One could dare ask IF the squad is big enough? We let so many go in the summer without replacing any - youth as well as experience. Why? Is the club broke? Robbo looks more and more of liability - lost every tackle last night. Tsimikas only a slight improvement. But we are fine at FB… Konate is struggling (looks like an major injury risk ) - Life saving spare part man across every defensive position - Joe Gomez - is out injured but we’re stacked at CB. We STILL don’t have a DM - but Endo is the man.

Again - It’s down to Salah and Virgil to perform more Klopp era miracles at both ends of the pitch.

We’ve got some good players but not many in that elite bracket that can change a game.

If Mo isn’t on it we seem to really struggle.

Since Mo slowed down & Mane left we’re really missing that lightning explosive pace & ability to leave players for dead & stretch defences
