Great result, far too many misplaced passes when under no pressure, Lille’s goal was a result of several poor challenges… our powder puff tackling really does need work …
I thought Chiesa played well, lots of simple intelligent passes, didn’t try to do much, but two of his signature shimmy’s resulted in 2 shots on target in just 20 mins, tbf on another day he could have had a 2 goals..really pleased for him.
Overall a really comfortable performance, played at our pace… Arne Slot eh… not too shabby. ������
