Beating Villa would be epic, I don’t see it personally. IF we can do that it changes our mentality and would lesson the mental load & fatigue hugely. Games v Bournemouth - Plymouth & Everton have put doubt in their minds.

Aye you make a good point there. I felt a bit deflated when they ended up winning yesterday but in all likelihood like today the chance of an upset is very unlikely against those teams.
"If" we can beat Villa and take the gap to ten it puts huge pressure on them for the game against West Ham but in all truth I'm not expecting anything other than an Arsenal win there.

Does aot of what you say come from fatigue? Players being out of position, not tracking, no movement. All of that could be attributed to players being fatigued. Look at rhe highlights on sky and the last chance they show for wolves. Robbo is about 5 yards depper than everyone else. That could be down to mental fatigue. No one communticating with him, him not looking across the line. Some of those players wrecked, even slot admitted it after the game. And we have 3 big games in a week coming up.
This was your summary the day after our toughest game of the season....
Better luck next timeLast night we were over powered for much of the game. A combo of the atmosphere and the gravity of the game? Some might call it choking, Couldn’t get into any kind of control. Great individual moments for the first goal and especially the second and a level of control soon after that Salah strike but never did I feel safe….
…and as we got close to FT - they just kept coming and we just kept surrendering the ball. Poor game management and technical ability, Trent main culprit. If we are still not good enough on the ball to keep it for a few minutes against utter dog shyte like them - it’s going to be a rough ride.
These are factors you aren’t addressing,![]()
Apparently not![]()
And of course it does - it’s why Slot even cited fatigue. That game v the Ev on Wednesday night massively draining and Slot would have picked virtually the same 11 had Gakpo not been injured. The reality is - at home to Wolves a top top side should be able to rest a few. we can’t do that even. we will play them until they break
It's being like that for how long? These are the same players that ran out of steam last year. It's why I'm not confident of sustaining our title charge. I fear, fatigue will undo us.
Your right about the selection, if gakpo is fit, Diaz sits it out. More than likely the only change. Also our depth isn't good enough. Klopp and now slot won't drop robbo for tsimi even though he has been poor. Quansah for Konate, you could feel a collective moan. I just hope Konate isn't injured and it wa sbecaus ekf the yellow. Was it mentioned on commentary?
Likely it was the yellow. another foul and he was off. so didnt risk it..
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Yes indeed. It’s an absolute cracker of a joke mate. Keep telling yourself that.
But I doubt it will help any of us to clear the mental image of you all over that wrinkled dick.
