I'm simply stating that Endo is a decent player that could play a few games when Grav needs a rest. I'm not saying he's the best in the world or that he should be playing every week.
No but to go to “cabbage”? Seems way ott. As mentioned you’ve done the similar when I have cited Klopp’s miracle worker ability with a far smaller budget than his rivals and without a squad choc full of world class players.

And I never suggested you did say we were the best. Read my comment. I am describing your response to my assertion that we weren’t the bestest in the world.

Then the accusation was - that I was saying they were tripe.

Also difference in opinion doesn’t equate with polar opposites. People often don’t agree that Pele wasn’t the best player in. the world - doesn’t mean they think he was utter garbage does it…

If I don’t think Endo is a cabbage it still doesn’t mean I think he is Luka bleedin Modric.

    Like I said - exhausting

So…for clarity - Endo, despite his obvious flaw has definitely proved to be very useful - nobody who watches would argue point… it goes without saying surely.?

HOWEVER that is ONLY because we STILL don’t have that much needed genuine WC specialist DM. We have used Grav in that position.. and boy has he done well BUT there is no genuine first team rotation for the geezer (not close to that level) playing out of position. This means we are also missing Grav’s ability in his natural position.

This is because we failed to land… anyone at all

So on to Villa we go. Our one signing seemingly banished from Premier league duty.. Grav, Macca and Szobozlai all probably needing a game off - that’s before we look at Virgil & Mo - neither are spring chickens and both without a contract

Let’s hope we come away unscathed and with the points eh… Won’t look too clever if we drop some more.

    Alisson
    Bradley Konate VVD Tsimikas
    Macca Grav Szobozlai
    Salah Jota Nunez

Diaz finally scores & we bench him? Bit harsh but if fully fit Gakpo’s more productive

    Alisson

    Bradley Konate Van Dijk Robertson

    Sloppy Gravenberch Mac Allister

    Salah Jota Gakpo

    Get the win, no excuses

Honestly I'd go full strength and go full power for this

Not saying we'll lose to city but they're on fire

I'd rather win one game, than draw this and lose to city...rather us win both, pretty sure we'll win the league then, but we won't do it easy and I can't see us doing it, few players look gassed before the 2 big away games.

4 pts ahead of arsenal if they don't drop any... after the fixtures we've had, not end of the world is it?? just need to win the next very winnable 6 games- they'll drop pts at some point.

I'd be very happy beating villa and drawing to city.. but yeah.

It went tits up even before he came on. A heap of players including sboz/grav looked leggy.

Should def go for the win at all costs vs villa. They aren't in the best of form either - last 3 prem games read: draw to 10 men for an entire half ipswich, loss to wolves and draw west ham.

And it's only factoring in fatigue - OR Diaz would be starting all day long after the Wolves game where was key in the build up to and then scoring of our first....and then got the penalty for the other. He will be pretty knackered after Sunday though... He did a huge amount of high intensity sprints

Been our biggest threat after Mo Salah has Diaz - that's why his loss of form has been so keenly felt.

Quietly having his best season, check the stats about time he upped his game mind

28 now, probably few seasons left, think we can improve in long run but lot more to sort first, and he'll do for now.
