He hasn't been close to the same player we bought - the one that nudged Mane out of the way and into the middle..not since that double knee injury. Looked like has was 75% back to that earlier this season but has dropped off alarmingly since. It's a drop alright...and we kinda need 2 of those 3 to up it- and now! I think Gakpo is playing close to his best. Think this is his level.

He still should score more imo - but his skill & trickery creates goals for others. He commits defenders and they have to foul him often. His passing can be wayward tho.. Rough round the edges is Diaz but IF we could get him at his best we should win the league - if we don't I think we might struggle.

Not analysed the team selections etc but think the return of some star players did us in last year. When Mo & Trent we're out we did fairly well as I recall. Scored goals and won games.

anyone keep getting database error few times, is the forum dying? this morning and 10 mins ago working now.

Salah tailed off badly, but when that happens other players need to start doing their bit in order to pick up the slack.
As for Trent, I've repeatedly said that for a couple of seasons he's been giving off a vibe of having turned into a 'Billy Big Bollocks'. Him probably being off to Madrid seems to have worsened his look that at times he can barely be arsed.

Yep. It has happened a number of times over the last few days. I don't know if any of you guys converse offline, but if you don't and this site permanently dies then it will be a shame for those that may have interacted with others on here for a fair while.
