One positive is that we created plenty of clear chances in that game. It was a lot better than recent games and Villa didn't really have many clear chances despite always looking at threat.

On a side note. Real are going to win that CL again aren't they.

On xg iirc it was 2.5 for us & 0.8 for them. This is a rough month for PL fixtures.

If Madrid don't win the CL this season, Barcelona or PSG probably will. The draw for the CL is on Friday. If we draw PSG I think we could be toast. They beat Brest 6-0 tonight. Even Benfica would currently fancy their chances against us.

Let's see what happens. As far as I know, we should know our route to the final later today. A kind draw and it could be an easy enough pathway to the final.
