We had an XG of 4.11 today which isn’t too shabby when you take into account most of that will be from the second half

We play within ourselves so frequently that it almost feels like we play at that first half pace to simply conserve energy.

Because as a soon as we up the tempo we're very difficult to stop.

Definitely. Ruthless in a way but it needed doing and it proved to be the right decision.
A bit damning for Jones really, don't think he has an excuse for lacking energy. I thought he started okay but eventually just faded into nothing again.
Szobo can say he's knackered,runs himself into the ground but Jones can't really say that.
He did well coming on at PSG keeping things tidy but I think that seems to be where he's useful, almost like an impact sub. He rarely capitalises on an opportunity and carries on where he left off.
