Not going to happen mate. We’ll get no favours from them. I can see another PSV scoreline, which whilst not helping us, will provide some entertainment.
I bet you can squeal like a pig!

Unfortunately, for me Jones thinks he is better than he actually is, when he keeps it simple and just works hard he is ok, but when he tries to go up a level in terms of influence like Macca, because this doesn’t come naturally and he has to think about the next move, as a result, too often he is found wanting and just looks ponderous and far too casual.. which negatively impacts those around him..

Good player, but only a squad player for me…

Aye the ridiculous bitterness is everywhere.
    Both were stonewall penalties.
At my son's footy this morning one of the parents who is a Newcastle fan said "the premier league are desperate for Liverpool to win it,giving them everything".
    Behave yourself I said.

I thought the first Penalty was a bit manufactured tbh, Nunez stepped into the space just as the defender made his move… if that happened against us I think I would have been pissed off, but the second penalty was a stone waller, not sure what the defender was thinking tbh…

But yes, the same people who spout these observations are incredibly quiet when there are dodgy decisions against us… so on that basis, their comments simply have no validity…

I’ve said it before, but Slot’s patient, pragmatic approach can lead to the kind of first half we saw today. The players are so certain that eventually we’ll score that they play with a lack of urgency… especially the back four. The goal and the bollocking changed us completely, but we’ve seen that first 45 so many times this season. It’s good that we have the ability and players to change the tempo so dramatically.

I’ve just seen the Nunez challenge, and it was nowhere near as bad as people were making out. Rash? Definitely, but not dangerous and if anything just mistimed. Ironic that he completely missed!

I actually think there’s a very good chance we won’t progress on Tuesday, but when all is said and done, winning the league will be more than enough. Anything else is just a cherry on the cake.

    Hoping for a draw tomorrow.
    Spot on
