Our annual shite Jan and Feb form has just come in March this time.
Pundits like Neville mentioning we look off it need to realise teams rarely go as far ahead in the league and get to the earlier final. Plus constantly winning can gave a huge psychological effect of pressure.
Our squad is still a bit thin. Jurgen was a superhero boss who managed to get a group of kids to help us across the line in this finalist time. That was 8 years into his reign. Arne has wobbled in the knockout comps but we'd well have taken him flying to win the PL.
Wind your heads on negative ninnies.I'm hugely confident we'll get to top form in the remaining 9 games. Which I think can include whacking Arsenal at home. Then rhe rest can see just how unbearable we are.

I have to believe that Klopp would have managed both this final and the two PSG games far better than Slot did.

It's the one area (...for the moment, maybe he'll grow into it), where Klopp still remains far above Slot.
That in-game management and knowing when to change things (...and how) - even when having to do so with a poor squad of players.

John Brooks gets a minus 1 for me.what a complete bias referee he is.. the lino one side was a shit too. not excusing our loss we well and truly deserved it. but the refereeing was bollocks

Which he does on a regular basis. He is slow, ponderous on the ball, and often unaware of what's going on around him. Out of all of our midfielders, for me the only one who can truly say they've 'earned their corn' is Gravenberch.

Our tactics was so obvious. 4/3/3 and play long and wide.. Newcastle was ready for it..when it broke down like it did.. they were much stronger at the back and midfield. we looked so weak.

It’s our midfield that totally gone there. Would probably have helped to see Chiesa - and plenty of us asked why not. But was he fit? Was he showing in training? Who knows why he wasn’t,

Take a brave man to drop Salah - he’s done ok this season

In the last 4 games, almost all our goals have come from the squad players. If only they'd gotten more minutes.

Yes. play him up there. Has the build to hold it up and the touch to finish.

Don’t forget Peeps this is still Klopps team. I still believe Slot was brought in as the fall guy. Can’t really judge him until he brings in the players he wants.

Exactly, Slot has done really well given the lack of support from the owners.

Slott was brought in for the very same reason that Klopp was i.e. he had also shown that he could be successful despite only having a very meagre budget to play with.
