Looks like he can't wait for the season to end.
I can understand his demeanor a little, he played well against Southampton, made a telling contribution and then Jota who's been awful petty much since he came back is getting the nod over him.

Hopefully the Saudis will come back in with a silly offer but will Nunez really want to head to Saudi this early in his career?

he aint the brightest.. you can tell that with how hes played at our club. Hes got way more ability than hes shown . so i wouldnt be surprised if he went to Saudi Arabia for the money

He certainly doesn't display much intelligence on a football pitch

Get my man Williams in 😉
Yes this is it , when you look back mane and Bobby were absolutely head and shoulders of anything we have now , salah had so much more support , jota gakpo good players but they are not brilliant players , Nunez has to go with possibly jota , and Ive championed Chiesa i think he has to be involved in every game before the end of the season to give him a run , he’s better than Nunez gakpo jota and Diaz

Health permitting, I'd love to see Chiesa get more time too.

What we as fans don't know is how resilient his body (in it's current guise) is to injury. There was an interview earlier in the season where Slot was responding to a lack of game time for Chiesa because "he's here for four years, not for one" and if the medical/analytics staff are keeping him off the pitch now so that he can not become a Sturridge/Ox/Keita then I can totally understand, provided we get the "pay-off" later on of a regularly fit Chiesa.

Even if he could play 65-70 minutes consistently once a week, that's still a very valuable contribution if he is performing well.

Whereas not featuring whatsoever for, what was it, nine(?) games on the bounce seems a terrible waste - with the obvious caveat of us simply not having that inside info of what he can handle.

I think I read or heard Slot say a few months ago (might have been after the PSV game) that he's essentially 6th choice and that he's unlucky because he has 5 players ahead of him.

Which is all when and good when all 5 are fully fit and in-form. Gakpo could barely move in the 2nd leg v PSG, Diaz is all fizz and no bang, Jota looks miles off it and Nunez, is well, Nunez...

If he's as fragile as suggested and requires the most cottoniest of cotton wool, then we shouldn't have signed him in the first place.

But he is part of the wider issue of Slot not using the whole of the squad.

Klopp got us to roughly the same place at this point last season having to rely on the squad players due to injuries. Quansah played a lot of games, as did Elliot. Endo was pretty much a mainstay and Gomez even had to fill-in in midfield for a game or two. So these players are clearly capable.

Slot hasn't had the same injury issues but has refused to use the squad and we're looking at a smilar issue in terms of limping home.

Agree about the use of squad players being used.
I'm hoping that they'll go again starting with Everton, the international break has come at a good time. It's a break mentally from the club football, obviously most of them are still going to be physically playing but it's still a break from what's been a busy few weeks.
We are playing just once a week after the Everton game, at this point last season with 8 games left we won four, lost 2,drew 2. Not exactly a collapse but we had peak Arsenal having the season of their lives and a City machine at full throttle.
They know what they have to do. Personally I'm confident they'll do it.

Yea I don’t agree with this logic , he obviously sees him every day , but if he’s impacting every game he plays in , he should be played. He might not go balls to the wall in training i have no idea, but when the players in front of him are not setting the world alight he has to be given a chance
