It's never to the owners' credit anything that happens in this club.
That is completely forbidden to even suggest that on here. Haven't you learned that?

I mean,.....come on CC, get with the program!

    Klopp hired himself.
And then he dug out all the dough from his old sofas to buy the players he needed - like the world's most expensive and second most expensive (at the time) CB and Goalkeeper respectively along with one of the most prolific strikers and front players of the Premier League era.

He also made sure to pick his own successor when he left and personally hired him (...and paid him from his personal piggy bank account) - AFTER paying for the rebuild of the team himself.

And then when he left he made sure that no one would break up the team he built that his hand-picked successor is now potentially guiding to a 20th title.

That Klopp,.....he's one amazing magician to be able to do all that without any meddling owners looking over his shoulder and pretending to pay for the lot.

If anything he faced a lot of annoying interference and disruption to his great plans by some so-called "owners" and really, just.....poseurs who have no clue what they're doing.
No one ever talks about this.
    Ever.

"The squad I blamed the owners for?"

Or are you lying again and talking about the owners I blamed Klopp leaving for?

The squad is short - yet again - as we can all see. Or are you going to blame Slot this time for not using his squad?

The fact is - you are a halfwit who hasn't got the slightest understanding of the sport or this club.

Maybe just maybe IF you started backing the club over the owners it would be something but until such a time - I will continue to view you as and expose you for the wretched little shill you are. Unable to come up with an excuse for why 'ArtetaFamTV' made up 60 points on Klopp's side in just a few seasons - while at the same time - according to you - blowing the money..

What credit do you want to give them..? Haven't put in a single penny. NOT ONE.. since we went "for a steel" Henry's own words to Henry in a sweet deal brokered by his mate Bob Diamond at Barclays.. Despite trying to trademark the name of the City, repeatedly attempted to raise ST prices in a cost of living crisis while making record profits. Attempted x2 to ruin the entire sport with their big pictures and ESL baloney.. Have made the club pay for all infrastructure improvements (primary reason for clubs sale) OUT OF REVENUE and at an alarmingly swift pace..and despite the PR to the contrary - including interest....WHY?

I mean we can credit them for not being as bad as H&G.

We can credit them for being better than the Glazers..

We can - and I have repeatedly credited them for hiring Klopp. They got their timing right - thank fook United hadn't waited until 2015..

BUT you cannot thank them for the fact that almost everything that took us to the top was dependent on that capture and a buy to sell miracle. That Barca would be so flush with Neymar cash and so desperate to spunk it on Coutinho - AND that Klopp had the charisma to attract both Virgil and Alisson with a level of funding not seen before or since.

FSG haven't been awful, but they have been weak. Weak in the market and weak in backing the man who himself stated he "would have liked to have taken more risks"...and "doesn't have the last say on transfers"...Just look at our net spend vs our rivals. It isn't everything I know BUT from a low bar nobody does what Klopp did with the funds he was given. Nobody. That's no credit to the owners ,

That man - who built this squad walked early.. He left us in a state that made a mockery of what he inherited. That's great but 18 months nearly since he announced he was departing the squad is smaller and weaker than it was.. Chiesa the only addition.

If we win this title - it is no thanks to FSG.. They will reap the rewards more than anyone but you can't say that by doing jack shyte they are responsible.

I'm a big believer in 65/25 (and realistically the "25" is often "30" these days) being used more often with rotation.

I don't think I would start Elliott and Jones simultaneously as part of a midfield three for the Derby, but I think starting one of them, let's say Jones (accompanied by two of Mac Allister, Szoboszlai and Gravenberch) and then taking one of our regular first-choice off (let's say Szoboszlai) for Elliott so that Harvey gets more minutes and Szobo doesn't play the full 90 isn't too ridiculous a notion.

We basically have 2 groups - Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and Gravenberch in Group One, with Endo, Jones and Elliott in Group Two.

We just need to turn the dial a little bit so that Group One players get a bit more of a breather and Group Two players get more minutes to build form and be able to contribute more.

I understand Slot perhaps not massively rating certain individuals, but taking first-choice players off just that 10-15 mins earlier on a more regular basis can really add up over a season.

Like I said, we don't credit them for anything other than not being H & G.

Klopp obviously hired himse...... oh wait..... I guess we credit them for that now.

But only because they did it because.....United were going to(?)

(...and even if that's true, that's a bad thing...how, exactly? Whatever)

We obviously don't credit them for COMPLTELY reinvesting the 145million we got from the Coutinho sale to Barcelona back into the squad in helping capture Van Dijk, Allisson and Fabinho

    No. No. No....

That was ALL Klopp and anyone who says any different is a liar.

And we MOST certainly don't credit them for hiring Slot (Another manager who hired himself and is now self-paid and working for the club for free. Pro bono!)

Or for not breaking up Klopp's team and selling our most important players while they still had high value and pocketing the profits.......

And most definitely not for actually redeveloping Anfield like their promised to, to increase the club's revenue generating capacity and improve its financial vaibility.

These are NOT things we credit them for.

So so many things we can't credit them for.

Things that happened at the club by magic and not because of anything they did or......you know..... paid for.

    Wait,.....

    Hold on a minute....

Just HOLD ON A goddamn friggin' minute there, Sir!!!!

Are you actually telling me that (**checks notes**) .....BUSINESSMEN.....involved in the activity of (**Checks notes again**).....BUSINESS........are actually trying to make and get a profit out of this thing that they invested their own money.......sorry.......I mean,.....this thing that they just happened to come across and fall on their lap and which they had nothing to do with its success.

That they're ACTUALLY trying to....reap rewards....from THEIR investment??!?!?!??!?!

    WHAT'S THE WORLD COMING TO?!?!?!?!?!?!

And why didn't anyone tell me that this is how the world works???!?!

It must be great to live in that magical world you live in where titles just fall into club's laps without them having actually spent any(one's) money and having magically stumbled onto talented managers who were somehow magically self-funded, self-paid and guided them to said title.......but of which (that club) will still somehow generate rewards to be reaped by these owners that had nothing to do with making that success a reality.

Someone should clue in the owners of Spurs and Chelsea and the other clubs that have stupid owners pouring mad money into their clubs but aren't winning anything.

    Magic is the answer!!!!!

    Clearly.

I see you're rambling, talking shite & asking the same dumb questions that have already been answered several times.

The only reason I have mentioned the owners this year is based on your September 2024 posts about them.

This is what you said in September 2024

Brighton are a well run club - so fucking what. The reality is our amazing manager wasn’t backed as well as Arteta despite the obvious need - and from 43 points behind us in 2020 they closed the gap in 3 years to be ahead of us 2022/23 and again in 2023/24.

This happened after they dropped the self sustaining model and we continued with the buy to let. It culminated in the best manager around walking early.

    “well run” hmm
It's very clear for everyone to see what you said at the start of the season.

In that thread I've outlined the players arteta spent 90% of his gross spend on.
I've shown the equivalent players Klopp added over the same period.
And asked how those 12 additions made Arteta "overtake" Klopp as you put it.
    To date, no reply.
I will open a second thread on the matter.

My presumption, is you were talking shite without any care for facts.

When shown the 12 players accounting for 90% of Artetas spend, it's like you couldn't explain how those were
    A) better than Klopps additions over the same period
    &
    B) left Klopp incapable of competing with your Arteta.

Hope you feel better after that.. Reads like an inner monologue.. While much of it is sarcastic and the points valid - none of it excuses the facts.. Klopp was't backed sufficiently - and almost all of us know it. That is wht despite Peps perenial winning Klopp gets plaudits at the same level or more.

Thank you mr Henry - Thank you so much for not pocketing some of that Ł140 million

    Very good of you

Hell of an achievement of we do it and winning a League title this season will be a big step in that direction. The FA Cup needs work, but we are doing well.
Definitely mate. This time last year if you said we'd be in this position you'd of been locked up.
    Exciting times ahead I feel.

The Geordies are having a trophy parade on Saturday week. Just fucking right, there's a so-called elite snobbery over winning what's was known as the league Cup
Their fans will have a brilliant day, they deserve it.
