Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, 31, is considering a return to England this summer, with Liverpool his preferred destination. (Fichajes - in Spanish)

If ever there was a rumour to indicate that 99% of these “links” are made up for clicks… this is it.

Now the thing about this one is, it’s a Spanish outlet saying a player would prefer to go somewhere else… very rare indeed

Newcastle striker Alexander Isak is open to a move to Barcelona but would prefer to join Liverpool if they make a move for the 25-year-old Sweden international this summer. (El Nacional - in Spanish), external

Liverpool and England full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, 26, has agreed terms with Real Madrid on a five-year contract and will join the Spanish giants on a free. (Sky Sports Switzerland - in French)

English defender Jarrad Branthwaite, 22, is considering his future at Everton amid interest from Manchester United and Liverpool. (Mirro, externalr)

Would prefer Huysen from Bournemouth to Braithwaite, probably cost about the same because of 'he's English so it costs more' protocol.
    Maybe Guehi.

Huijsen is Spanish and would likely do a Trent when they tell him to.

It's going to be very interesting over the coming seasons how clubs handle transfers.

More and more sides will get in a player's ear and say "sit tight, we can pick you up on a free in X months and offer this" which is bad for clubs wanting fees, but also could mean that more clubs see their best players stay a season or two longer, which may be the difference between things like -

    - Relegation or not
    - Europa Conference League or not
    - and so on

Also there will no doubt be more "creative adaptations" with PSR etc

Branthwaite would be a monster signing. He's looks like he could go to the top in my opinion.
The chances of him joining Liverpool are virtually nil though. A pointless link if there ever was one, probably go for 75m,that was last summers figure that got bandied around.
Huijsen has a 50m release clause allegedly.
Guehi would be cheaper as he's into the last year of his deal next season. I'd say he's the most likely if we bring in a CB and reports say he wants the move.

But would said players put 100% in if they have already had their ear bent or would they do a Trent and put in half arsed displays week in week out.

I wouldn’t want those players in my first 11.
