It would be an amazing capitulation if they bottled second place but they've been dropping points and will have one eye on the champions league. Also Newcastle are 8 points behind with a game in hand and they play each other after Arsenal visit Anfield

To be fair February was too early to call it really but they thrive on publicity and not much was going to change in March with the international break. Then in April they just adjust their books again.

And it's too early to call next season (I see Richard Keys says we'll win nothing!) but it's that fast forward mentality that's killing football, if you love the game you see the possibilities.

It's just the media narrative to invalidate our title win. Just like 2020.
Arsenal have this very unjustifiable arrogance. Not sure where it comes from,like they're obliged to win trophies because they play a prettier brand of football.
I don't remember their fans being so arrogant when they had success under Wenger. They were a likeable side back then. It's the Arteta effect that's made them very unlikeable in my opinion.

They could have got better odds by betting on arsenal to win the league at 14/1 then. I suspect no one actually put money on that either.

As I see it, with Virgil signed up, and even Mo, we should be the current favourites for next year's title.
