This is said in generalities and is by no means "aimed" at you - but I wouldn't worry too much about it.

We have a way of doing things, it frustrates some fans, but we will stick largely to our method, for better or worse - and it's largely quite effective.

All season we have listened to the likes of "FSG can't wait to offload Virg and Salah to save money" and lo-and-behold we're going to be committing the larger part of £800k-per-week on those two players.

Slot is not going to come out and say "we need players" because it will reduce morale amongst those who are staying and will double/triple the fees of our targets and strengthen the negotiating positions of clubs and agents who know we are in for their players.

Just seen a post that put up the stats from the first 16 games to to the last 17.
More goals, more points,more shots, same goals conceded.
Whilst we haven't been as good on the eye there's no doubt how good they have been in terms of efficiency. Hopefully it bodes well for next season.
Arsenal can moan all they like,we've just been better by getting results. The have 13 draws and in ten if those games they've been in the lead. It kind of debunks the "no striker" argument. They haven't been able to hold onto winning positions.

Yeah, I saw that mad stat… tbf given the optics of our recent performances, cup results and the narratives doing the rounds, it would have been hard to argue with the statement, LFC are struggling…

However, facts don’t lie… looking easy on the eye is one thing, but the bottom line is points win prizes… everything else is just window dressing. Would i have liked us to have been more exciting to watch recently, absolutely.. but given where we are right now, do I give a flying fuck… answer NO !! 😝😎👊

Slot is definitely responsible for upping the technical football from this group compared to Klopp. Less hell for leather for sure - yes we have managed to keep better control & crucial that also seems to have led to fewer injuries…

BUT Carra was right a few days ago when he said we need 5 or 6 players and:

“If you look at Liverpool this season – this is not the manager’s squad, it is Jurgen Klopp’s.
“Arne Slot doesn’t trust the squad. When people talk about Liverpool at the end of the season, their style during the winter is not the same and is not consistent like the rest of the season.
