VAR will check on a 4th for Inter - Barcelona cannot win this tournament with a defence this wide open surely

Regardless, on paper, the score as it stands still favours Inter, as they head back to Italy for the second leg.

    On paper.

In reality, they're still playing team that can score anytime almost at will, just as likely as they are to concede silly goals at the back, and I don't think home advantage for the second leg will matter one jot.

If you're a team that's playing Barcelona at their place and manage to come away with a draw, you'd normally have to think to yourself you've done a pretty good job getting back with matters tied.

It's that dreaded high line at the back that haunted us over the Klopp years...

I went into this match thinking that whoever won this tie would surely have to be favourites in a final against PSG or the Arse.

But now, seeing how Barca are so open at the back and how Inter are so sloppy when in possession and easily opened up, I'm not so sure.

I think if either of them meet the PSG we played, they'll get turned over.

You'd like to think that Inter will defend a lot better at the San Siro.

Yamal looks like a player who will rival Messi there. At 17 he's doing outrageous things but scoring goals aswell. Going to be amazing watching him the next few years.

I have to imagine if they still tied when they get back to the San Siro, they're not going to be as defensive and will actually be trying to win the tie.

And in so doing, they'll likely be more open than they are tonight, which will make it more dangerous for them against a team like Barcelona.

Despite how much Barca are inviting them to get a sneaky smash-and-grab late winner, what with their ridiculous high line, Inter will do well now to get back to Italy with the score as it is and a tie.
Barca pushing for the winner shows you they know it won't be so straightforward at the San Siro.

Either way, both teams have laid out blueprints for whomever their potential opponent in the final will be from this game tonight.

For Barca just get at that highline - and PSG have exactly the tools and the players (Dembele and Khrava) to do so and tear them a new one.

For Inter, high and early pressure at their sloppy careless giveaway-happy defenders constantly gifting away possession will bear lots of opportunities for scoring.

Absolutely superb, that match had everything, great goals, great defending, great individual play, great interplay…lots of mistakes…Arsenal and PSG will both be taken aback by that game tonight… great watch tbf.. thoroughly enjoyed that.
