There will be plenty leaving, no one thinks FSG are ploughing £200m of their own into squad building

Okay, seeing as both of you say potentially 6 new signings in the summer, I'm now saying it's going to be two...

Tsimikas, Nunez and backstabber Trent will go. well Trent went months ago.. Gomez will probably leave along with Elliot. Who i think will be told hes not in the managers thinking. oh and of course Chisea will leave. if he was ever here to begin with that is.
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
I read somewhere that Alvarez hated living in England so I can’t see him being too keen to swap sunny Spain for miserable north west England.
Be tough to lure him back to Blighty.. Would try everything to do it tho….
Wonderful player…
Looking at our starting 11, we clearly have a very strong starting 11, but it’s clear that there are 2 immediate areas of concern, namely CF and LB that urgently need addressing.
Yes there are other areas of the squad that need addressing regarding succession planning and cover ie CB and DM but we always need to improve the overall quality and profile of our squad players that are best suited to Slot’s own preferences. Rather than Slot having to make do with Klopp’s preferences.
It could be argued we need a right back to replace TAA, but I think Bradley has done more than enough to be given his opportunity to establish himself as a starter rather than back-up, yes there are concerns about his fitness, but I think Bradley’s issues are more age related than a concern going forward. Given we have Quansah, Gomez and Endo who are all hungry for game time, so I do think we have sufficient cover in that regards.
However, I will caveat that by saying, if Slot has identified several potential gems that can be introduced straight into our starting 11, that he believes will improve our team, so be it…
Well hopefully Calvin Ramsay is raring to go for the pre-season this summer and he can keep his fitness up this coming season after his loan stints at Wigan and Kilmarnock this season...
Still only 21 we must remember, and may well be a good understudy to Bradley for the foreseeable..
Ekitike and Kerkez would lift us whilst reducing the average squad age.
Jota or Núñez (age-wise Jota, though I understand folks wanting to shift Darwin) departing to facilitate Ekitike's arrival would eat a chunk of his fee.
The sale of someone like Kelleher (promote a youth keeper to be 3rd choice behind Alisson and Mamardashvili) eats a chunk of the Kerkez fee.
Invest as well of course, but any outs part-funding ins where possible is the way to go. If Elliott is viewed as a midfielder these days and if you sell him ("if") that eats into a chunk of any fee for a midfielder and so on.
We can get quite a lot done without being particularly lavish with spending. Strike a healthy balance between good investment and being lean/mean and we can do a lot.
To add to your two, I still really want to see genuine depth/cover at Gravenberch's sort of level (Stiller, please!) and sort out a future centre-back (Huijsen, please!) but I don't think we do 5/6 "big" moves in one Summer, so interesting to see what we prioritise.
