Without wanting to open up our debate again, they/the clubs all recruited well. In United's case they were fortunate that they had 3/4 of a side in the youth system ready to go. Wenger brought in half of France's World Cup winning side. And Klopp wasn't winning either of the big two without Van Djik and Ali.
Until United do the same it wont matter which manager they bring in, generational or not.
Someone like Klopp were certainly galvanise the cub, very much in the way he did with us. But it would need to be backed up with good players. And United simply haven't signed enough of them.
