Elliot to consider his future at Liverpool.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c5y5wgn5nx8o

"It's just a situation that me and the team have to have a conversation about because I'm coming into an age now where I'm 22, I'm going to be 23 next season," said Elliott when asked if he is considering leaving Liverpool.

"I don't really want to be wasting years on my career because it's a short career. You don't know what's going to happen.

"I need to reflect. I need to see if I'm content in doing what I'm doing and how can I improve as a player because that's the most important thing.

"I just want to improve and be the best possible version of myself. If that's to go somewhere else, then it's a decision that I'm going to have to make and I just need to see what happens.

"Nothing makes me want to leave. I love the club, I love the fans, the team. I support them as well. But most importantly, it's just about what's best for my career."

Good on him, he doesn't fit in the midfield, or on the wing for the best if he leaves for everyone

Pretty sure Wirtz spells the end of elliot, it's what we wanted Elliot to be, even if not as good.

I’d rather he considered his future away from Liverpool

He's unfortunate not to be a bit taller, bit faster, bit stronger.

Hope he can find a spot at somewhere like Brighton or Dortmund. Have a lot of time for him, but he isn't going to be a starting XI player for us for 25+ games a season due to the nature of the League.

The real Litmus test is this, if Harvey Elliott was put on our Transfer List, which clubs in the Premier League or in Europe would register their interest in him… ?

I would suggest the Clubs that would be interested in him, are more Europa League than Champions League clubs…

The fact he supports Liverpool with a passion is not really relevant, if you want to stay at one of the best Clubs in the World, you simply have to perform to a consistently high level week in week out, so good in fact nobody even considers you to be on the bench, see Alison, Virg and Salah.. and he clearly hasn’t been able to do that..

Unfortunately for Elliott, he is really good, but good is not really good enough for a starting berth @ LFC, you simply have to be exceptional to be a guaranteed starter. I am not even sure if he is good enough to be on the bench… especially when LFC are competing for the biggest prizes, against teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City and PSG etc etc.. harsh but true.

There are levels and unfortunately for Elliott, Liverpools level is beyond his current level of performance, however if he does move on and develop and then becomes genuinely good enough, a return to LFC in the future is certainly not out of the question… it’s up to Elliott to prove LFC wrong.

22 years old & 147 appearances for LFC.

15 goals and 20 assists in 7,034 assists
Goal or Assist per 201 minutes

Very limited playing time this year, so leaving to play a serious consideration for Elliott.

5 goals & 3 assists in 822 minutes this season all comps
Goal or Assist per 103 minutes

Decent stats for a young man and he should be bringing in a decent fee.
