I think Gomez stays in all honesty, unless we get a tidy bid for him.

As annoying as his injury-proneness is, he has been in the dressing room for longer than any of them, can cover at centre-back and is capable of left-back and right-back cover when desperate (which we hopefully aren't very often) plus he is Home-grown.

Jota I don't think we entertain bids for until we have sorted a one-in, one-out situation first, with the "one-out" being Núñez. Just don't see a World where Jota is sold before Darwin, though stranger things have happened.

I've blown completely hot and cold with Jota since his arrival.
Was completely underwhelmed when we signed him, ate my words 3 months later as he finished for fun. Wanted a more consistent striker in terms of injury when he suffered his 2nd and 3rd spell on the sidelines, now after he's come back he seems a shadow of his formewr self, including seemingly bang average in the air which used to be his forte.
I think he's a busted flush now, offering even less than Nunes unfortunately.

If it was my decision, I'd move Jota on instead of Darwin. Both have impressive goal-or-assist per minutes stats at LFC. Núñez has a better fitness record. But like Elliott it seems Darwins out this summer under Slot.

Goal-or-Assist per minute stats at LFC

    Salah per 91.3 minutes

    Darwin. 112.6
    Jota..... 112.9
    Chiesa. 116.5

    Mane... 130.1
    Gakpo.. 130.6
    Firmino 134.7

    Diaz..... 156.3

I think it's mad the shit Darwin gets. He's great at making space for Mo, puts himself about and defends well at corners and similar set pieces.

We've signed Salah up to a big deal, and only Trent & Bobby have provided more Assists to Salah than Darwin at LFC.

Nunez out the side second half of the season and Salah stats dropped off.
1st half of the season.. Darwins off the ball work, pressures, was top of our lot with Sobozla... and Salah flying

Needless to say I'm a Darwin fan, for me he's in our best front 3.
    Gakpo Núñez Salah

Jota knows how to finish.. Nunez doesn't. I know who'd keep when it came to a choice

    Its ok
You know what had me upset thinking about Jota.is last season when he had that serious lung injury.. a lot of us including me. i admit.. were thinking he seems to be made of biscuits. Pales into insignificance now..And i think we've all had members of our family or friends that are suddenly taken from us.. even if its a short illness.. Its just how they are here and then gone, without a reason why,, Obviously there are reasons.. But they never seem to fit when losing people.

    Spot on there Just Me.
I'm starting to ponder small, inconsequential stuff compared with two young brothers being horrifically taken from the world.
    Like Diogo's nickname of Slotter/Slotta.
Weird to think we won't ever have posts of that nickname in capital letters on this forum when he scored a goal or came on as a sub.
Thankfully, those things only stop when a player is sold or retires from the club in any other circumstance.
His finishes, celebrations with team mates and smile are all taken away. Those precious moments we get to experience as support.
