Just joining all the speculation dots and coming up with what I consider the best solution with those available
Still would prefer Diaz to stay and outside of Isak and Alvarez none of the other strikers mentioned convince me at all.

Whilst I don't think that's how it will pan out this Summer, I do think there's a World where that is workable, with some additional sales and (the hard bit) clever negotiation with Real Madrid.
- I think there's a player+cash deal to be had to get Rodrygo, where Konaté goes the other way. They get their man, we spend a bit less on Rodrygo, Rodrygo (if he backs himself) looks forward to being the "main man" in our attack in a couple of seasons when Salah leaves.
- I think Diaz could be sold to Bayern (or whoever) and the money utilised to cover the Guehi fee, leaving us with a little "loose change" from that deal.
- Isak's price tag would be huge, but selling Núñez (£40m?) and Elliott (£35m?) would get us halfway to the alleged £150m, meaning we had to "find" somewhat less of the money, which is before considering any little £10m top-ups we might get from players such as Bajcetic if we decide we are selling such players rather than loaning them.

I couldn’t possibly say …
Liverpool have met with Jean-Philippe Mateta and his agents in Paris, there is interest from the Anfield club ahead of a potential transfer for the forward...
Grief
To be honest, there’s absolutely no evidence to suggest there’s any more value in spending fortunes on the likes of Sesko or Ekitike
28 as well, so I doubt it, unless he’s a £40m back up striker ..
Naah I don’t see it.
That's a left-field and interesting link!
16-in-35 in the League.
14-in-37 in the League.
That's his last two League seasons.
That's a pretty decent scoring rate in a vastly inferior side, plus the experience of the Premier League and his age would mean less settling-in time.
I'd far rather a younger player - forum users in here will have heard me say "future-proofing" far too often.
But if it's for a reasonable fee.......whilst it doesn't get the pulse racing, I can certainly see logic in it, especially as the current tax on "potential" is a bit wild in the market right now.
Does somewhat whiff of the old "smoke-screen" thing but here we are.
