On Robertson and Tsimikas I'd be sentimentally inclined to keep Robbo for his experience and leadership, and give him a proper send off on a free next summer, but he may not want to play second fiddle to Kerkez.

Tsimikas will have a higher transfer value than Robbo, but if we are going to go for Koulierakis then maybe we'll keep Tsimikas because they're both Greek so they are bound to be mates and that.
Diaz first out the door so if rumours are to be believed. Seems like he will be off this summer.

Ornstein reporting we have submitted a proposal up to 95million EURO. That's seems a lot. We really are splashing the cash this summer.

I have been very open about my concerns about his finishing, but to look at it from another perspective for a moment, we have Salah and Wirtz at the club. Wirtz is as close to a "sure thing" as you get in football and the energy and dynamism of Kerkez and Frimpong will make the side collectively very good.

In short, Ekitike won't have the weight of pressure on him that some players might, which should give him time to ease in. He will definitely have some "Darwin" moments though.

I hope his "Matip but played further forward" vibe endears him to our fanbase quickly. If a player with bags of potential is to succeed anywhere, then it's probably at Liverpool.

My feelings exactly. I just have to hope that the club know what they’re doing. Seems a hell of a lot of money. Something just feels “off” about it.

Way l see it, we're spending a chunk of cash on a new Darwin because the fans are done with Darwin.
They were done with him at the end of the Klopp era, where he produced a goal or assist every 91 minutes, the same as Salahs career stats at LFC.
But he missed big chances and people wanted to blame him for our failures in 23/24.
Trent was a massive issue in Klopps last year, but he's loved, so people wanted to blame Darwin. Trent responsible for just about every goal we conceded 1st half of 23/24 and our results dropped off when he returned from injury at the end of the season. Defense & officials cost us in 23/24, Darwin got the blame.

I a World obsessed with proverbial "ceilings" Ekitike's technical ability probably means he has a higher "floor" than a lot of attackers.

I can foresee his footwork and little lat-offs giving other attackers opportunities. A "Firmino-lite" if you will.

Don't see him as a 20-League goal forward, but do see him getting 8-12 and chipping in on the assist front, with diverting runs opening space for Wirtz, Salah etc and that may prove to be "enough" for us, though I very much hope for more.
