There won't be a team in the league with a player as good as Jones as a 5th choice midfielder.

Elliot went and applauded all 4 stands at FT tonight, Anyone think it’s his last games in a red shirt?

Appreciate the posts lads, not seen any of preseason.

Using the matchthread logic, does anyone know what odds I can get on Darwin Nunez scoring the winner for LFC in the 25/26 CL Final ?

it's fine he'll be playing out-wide more soon as we have a couple of injured players

I actually thought Jones played decent enough last evening..Like a lot of players. Its always about consistency. Hopefully when Curtis does get in the team he can stay in it. cause his performances warrant it.

    Think so.

Same with Nunez, his goal celebrations have been very muted.

A shame for Elliot. He's good player but he needs to be playing on a regular basis and he'd likley get less minutes than last season with the arrival of Wirtz.

Yep feel for the lad - he’s a red to the bone. Still he’s played for the team he loves and won the big prizes while doing it. Hope he gets a good move

Aye I'm disappointed about Elliot. He's a good useful player and he certainly could have contributed more had he been given the trust but that's the way Big Arne works and we can't complain due to the yield.
Would be great if he somehow ends up back one day.
