Yep - such a pity.![]()
BBC News - Mohamed Salah: Egyptian king - where it all began for Liverpool star - BBC Sport
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cx2xlk74llno
Not sure where I read it but I believe he used to have a 5 or 6 hour commute to take part in training as a young lad. Combination of walking and busses. That’s dedication.
Apparently up to 9 hours!…. That’s a flight to Atlanta… 😳
I'm sure Mane used to do something similar. Unbelievable dedication to their trade.
A work ethic most westerners only could dream of having.
They knew from the off, whatever you get out of life, it’s completely down to you to go and get it. No handouts no favours from anyone, just get on with it, whatever it takes or live your life in poverty.
Salah and Mané both must have really wanted to get ahead in life, not just sit and let life happen to them.
Unfortunately far too many western kids have far too much just handed to them and it kills their motivation to strive to achieve anything by their own efforts
Well done Mo, now make it 4 please
Mo Salah named PFA Player of the Year for a THIRD time after firing Liverpool to glory as he joins Premier League royalty
Would he be in most people's all time Liverpool XI?
I would think it would be somethinng like this -
Clemence
Neal - VVD - Hansen - Kennedy
Salah - Gerrard - Souness - Barnes
Dalglish - Rush
Something, Something, Something, Dark Side
