G i v e i t up. You continually do this as a means to obfuscate and distract when you want to get involved in a debate you are clearly ill equipped to take part in.
You dropped use of language into a topic where language plays no part… and did so by referencing someone else’s wrong use of the term ‘race’ then used it as a basis to try and disprove fact.
If Tony Blair suggests that Syria is in Africa - it doesn’t mean Syria is in Africa! Or does it to you..?
Stop digging.
Back to the beginning:
There is no racial group defined as "German." German is a nationality and can also refer to an ethnic group, but neither is the same as a race.
This distinction is important because it highlights the difference between a political/legal identity and a social/cultural one.
Nationality is based on citizenship, which is a legal status granted by a country. A person can become a German national by being born in Germany to German parents, or through the process of naturalization.
Ethnicity is based on a shared culture, language, ancestry, and history. The "German" ethnic group is often defined by a shared language and a long history of living in a specific region of Europe. However, even this is complex, as historically, there were many different German-speaking peoples in various principalities and regions.
The idea of "German" as a race is a false concept, one that was tragically exploited by the Nazi regime in the 20th century to create a false sense of racial purity and justify horrific acts of genocide. In reality, Germany is home to a diverse population, including people of various ethnic and national backgrounds who are all German nationals.
