The whole team was and has been piss poor. Is there anyone senior both on and off the pitch that isn't to blame for this mess?
You saw their second goal. Konate is a right sided defender and he was over on the left side of the box trying to defend.. dunno where our left back was or Virgil.. Im all for attacking football. But to get over run like that. Criminal and YESSSS it happened a lot under Klopp as well. our fullbacks were playing right up the pitch.. Kerkez is expected and told to get forward. he can't cover 90 yards of a pitch in 3 seconds.
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Probably because other than the goal (which he easily could have missed given the other chances), he's the one that got the most chances that easily should have been put away, and he fluffed on all of them.
In addition to the fact that he constantly kills our attacking moves with slow decision-making and inexplicable need to cut inside to get his shot, which is wholly predictable at this point and instead constantly leads to a poor cross when he's cut off from shooting.
You could set your watch by him doing this in the game every time.
No one should escape blame , terrible all over the pitch , slot has to take the blame , but what I liked about him last season he’s doing the opposite now , he will be Interviewed and blame stats or moments in the game , but they look fucked , no one knows what’s happening, Salah is absolutely cooked at the minute and if you keep playing him it’s on pure reputation only
Mo missed one from even closer in.
Sky with their obligation to say this is a turning g point for a Utd manager. Recall them saying it after Tent Peg's wins over Guardiola and when Amorim won at City last year.
Their season will be a failure if they don't make the CL. Given no euro commitments and out of one domestic cup already.
Yeah, but that second goal came from the second sequence of a corner.
All our players were still in our half and most of the defenders in the vicinity of the box - just not in the right places.
That didn't have anything to do with us getting stretched but more the usual loss-of-concentration that's become typical of our defending set-pieces.
