We have tried in the past to get a fancy little player in midfield. it doesnt work, our best 3 under Jurgen was Fabinho. Gini and Henderson, Under Slot. its Grav Macca and Dom.. our defence is leaking more cause we cant control midfield.. we are 1 short when you play Wirtz,, hes not a number 10 or an 8.

It could also be down to slots setup. Grav has said he is now going forward more. So who is sitting? We have definitly changed due to wirtz arrival. But what's the plan? We are still Conceding too many soft chances. That 2nd goal tonight? A ball through the middle and he was éan through.

I have said on this thread for about a decade I alwayss want a player to be good but the main attributes is athletic strong and quick , wirtz goes against that , so does Kirkez, I can’t see them coming good . Mane was the perfect prem player , the ultimate .
I would sell those players , buy semenyo guehi and a physical quick LB and defensive midfielder

We have lost any belief at all. Right through the team. The work rate has gone. Dom Szobozlai apart - there is a universal lack of responsibility. Blaming each other - a lack of togetherness. There’s no threat. At least early season Hugo was a threat but bringing in the lanky Swede - when unfit and benching Hugo hasn’t helped him either.

Might be good that it's Palace we face next at Anfield and in a cup tie.
