Hopefully we've sacked the transfer team, someone has to pay for these failures of not getting the obvious in

whole point was to improve the squad and depth, not make it worse, no ? the depth's actually got worse.

Especially improve at least... the no6 we need and a CB, imagine a number 6.... with a fit Grav/Szob/Maca rotating and all on form, we never needed wirtz in the first place, i was confused but happy when we first signed him because of the hype and what he's done in germany, but i was still confused, where did that signing come from sort of thing- and why.. for example caicedo would've been money better spent if it was a choice between them both, but that's stating the obvious using him as a example due to the bid before for him

Imagine a good CB that can rotate with VVD/Konate due to injury's and VVD's getting on.... also ready for when Konate leaves we can get another CB in, not need 2.......

Imagine someone like Diaz with pace, who can play across the front 3.... you know....

    Jesus is it rocket science???

but instead, LETS RIP UP THE WHOLE TEAM AND FUCK IT UP and change everything, fuck off heads need to roll.

Liverpool have now lost 4 PL games in a row - only the 4th time to happen for a Premier League champion

Impressive, think leicester was one, and us in 2021??? think that's the last time we had a bad run??? I don't have super memory i'm afraid

that's what happens when you spend 460m I guess

That’s what happens when you lose 4 starters and you spend Ł450m randomly with absolutely no thought about how you are going to use those players.

    It’s an absolute shambles

This is actually unbeleivable what is going on?

TL;DR - We cant play 4-2-3-1. All 4 attackers dont press so we've got 2 people trying to control the game.

    Following reply

And nobody seems to know what their teammates will do at any given moment. When 1 player does press, the other 3 dont. There was a moment in the ManU game where ManU were pinging the ball around the box and ultimately Bruno got a shot off from the edge of the area. The Liverpool players were standing about, looking at each other, wondering who is supposed to take responsibility for making a tackle.

I havent seen a Liverpool side this discombobulated and uncoordinated in a long time

Even Konate and VVD - who have played a long time together and cant blame it on new squad additions- dont look totally comfortable with each other.

Thats not solely because of signing too many players, Slot is not doing a good enough job getting these players coordinated.

Can't say I disagree with this? not my words.

I'd love to know what Slot told Wirtz about his "vision" for him and the club given that it reportedly convinced him to join us over Bayern

"we were prepared for Brentfords long throw ins"
Well going a goal down to one inside five minutes kind of indicates you weren't.

I've never understood the issues a long throw causes. Just defend it like you would from a free kick or corner.

Virgil or Konate should have been marking their big centre half not Ekitike. You have to win that first header.

Same issue as having someone like Macca marking big Dan Burn.

We don't attack the ball. They had 2 players tracking the ball and bith moved towards it. We had 4 defenders all standing still. Not one of em tried to attack it. Prob by waiting for someone else to do it. That's a group of players not taking responsibility and devoid of confidence to go attack a long ball.

Me neither. The chances of conceding from set pieces is very slim unless you're absolutely shit at defending them.
The defensive coach whoever he is needs to go the journey as he's clearly failing massively.

Slots cv reads premiership winning manager but the fact is he kept klopps team ticking over, which must if stung a bit.has he moved to quickly to turn it into slots team, with a change of formation and bringing in players he doesnt have a plan for.
