Slot passed comment that he had some fitness concerns but didn't think he would be out for long.

It's worth mentioning that, besides Thiago Chiesantara being an injury-prone player in general, he didn't have a pre-season under Slot's stewardship and thus will be behind the others in terms of Arne's expectations.

I don't mind him missing out for another couple of weeks provided we see the benefits of it further down the season. Never a good idea to rush a player back, so hopefully we'll see more of Alberto Chiesalani very soon.

Apparently needs more time to adapt to the intensity and physicality of the English game. Should’ve took a punt on Liam Delap

pfff that's never a good sign, and maybe we should have known that before we signed him ???

Literally panic buy to please the fans, on a bargain price

they know they had to sign someone otherwise we'd be pissed, but come on.

Credit to him, application/effort/work ethic absolutely there tonight against Crystal Palace.

A crap evening of Footie of course (it's just gone 3-0 as I type) but he was a spark of light on a cloudy night.

Battled on his own up top - ran himself into the ground - Slot should be ashamed

I think he's struggling to find a fix now. This is pressure at another level to anything he's experienced.
He was on a hiding to nothing tonight in a way, if he'd played a strong line up they'd likely have lost too. That's how poor they are.
I actually think they'll beat Villa and lose to City and Real which will paper over the cracks.

He was in desperate need of a win tonight, so it was inexcusable to put a bunch of kids out there. It was the act of a manager who is completely lost, in a downward spiral, with no idea how to get out of it. 6 defeats in 7 matches ffs.
