Maybe there's a bigger plan afoot where a Saudi club comes in for him in the January window or next summer and we get a big fee for him.
Which would look genius after the fact for a mid-30's player whose legs are completely gone.
But other than that, it's not looking at all like a smart move on our part on his currrent form.
As I type this he just lost out on another one-on-one with Donarumma.
Darwin would be proud of that miss.
It's good to keep the spirit of former players alive, I feel.
