Virgil seems lazy and yes he's working alone back there. But i just think it might be a case of the big players having too much say in the dressing room. Vvd just seems to criticise his team mates all the time while making plenty of mistakes himself.
With hindsight we should have brought in Guehi and AN Other and rebuilt the defence. Save the wirtz money.
And the fact mo started yesterday and not ekitike who has been our best striker is just bizarre.

Is the stat that we have a near 75% win rate with Ekitike starting and a 0% win rate with Isak starting true?
Can anyone confirm or deny..?
I mean it’s not definitive as Isak hasn’t had a pre season (becoming a tired excuse) but it’s a damning situation if it’s true. And it gives credence to the notion that Slot is the fall guy. Would he really be choosing Alexander over Hugo right now? The manager? We have all seen them both… We can all see which player offers more threat.

Saying that, I don't think it's all on Isak, he barely had a kick of the ball on Saturday. And I dont think Ekitike touched it at all when he came on.
And Ekitike's numbers haven't been stellar recently either, he has 1 goal contribution since his Red Card in the league cup.
The whole side is borked. We could have prime Rush/Fowler/Torres playing up top and the results would be the same.

Ekitike has done nothing before that in the last 4, just saying, however i'm not sure why he suddenly threw isak into the team when he's been out once again

Using the fact that Ekitike - and the entire team haven't/hasn't performed as well as before the changes is surely a validation of the initial question..
WHY start a new signing from the current league...well cited to have had no pre season...a player described as 'not up to speed' over another player - from another league who was on fire....?
Do any of you who think it has no bearing, honestly believe that inside the dressing room this has no effect..? YOu think it didn't knock Hugo's confidence.. just a liddle-iddy bit? The harmony? The fact that players costing over Ł100 million seem to be getting priority..? YOu don't think that players who feel their place is safe regardlss play with the intenity of those who know it isn't? yeah Klopps left but wasn't going to be here forever was he?? for me he should've given himself another season but that's on him really, he could've won it last year.
Other teams win stuff without Klopp stevo mate..... other managers are good too---- Klopp did make players run through brick walls etc.. but then we burned out too, remember? plus now on paper we have top quality players and we should'nt have to make up for lack of quality by outworking teams, if you get me?
Klopp wasn't even perfect himself noone is, BUT at least he'd try and change things, and not sanction crazy transfers on positions we didn't need.
