    Back to the January window.
I really hope we get at least 2 centre halves in and good ones at that .
Here's hoping, as we bloody need them as Virgil and Kanote need rested.

1 is more than likely unless, Konate were to leave for a fee. Which is very unlikely.

We will need 2 between now and next season though. Interesting times ahead to see the direction of the team.

Lies, damn lies and statistics. We've done ok since 2018.

Not a hope we're getting 2 CBs in Jan. Don't why people set themselves up like that only to act disappointed afterwards. Must be a modern glory hunter thing.

He absorbed all the media heat, allowed Slot to demonstrate absolute authority, and created a scenario where Slot wins regardless of how Salah performs next, if indeed he ever gets the chance.

Let's see how many folks wake up, and start to think a little differently about this.

Here's a thought: Perhaps Slot was never the target of his ire..?

Now, every major headline and talking head is consumed by the far juicier drama of the star player's massive ego, his potential disciplinary action, and his threatened transfer to Saudi Arabia, temporarily removing the intense, results-based pressure from Slot and placing the club's authority and hierarchy under the media microscope instead.

    Come on sheeple

Anyone - feel free to argue against the fact that Salah has absolutely taken some heat of Arne Slot through his outburst.

Please it would serve as a good expose on the human condition

Considering your inital theory was he directed his ire at someone other than the manager...

Do you think Salahs shocking outburst is a full endorsement of everyone at LFC

    Well there you have it.

    To paraphrase, you've posted about

    ● Salah maybe directing his ire elsewhere, and Slot was not the intended target
    ● Salah is doing Slot some favour with his outburst

Salah name dropped Slot, and someone at the club without excluding Slot from being that same person. Slots the only person named from the club.
Salah had his outburst after being on the bench for 3 games in a row, a decision taken by Slot.
Salah talked about this making it look like hes to blame.
He explicitly said he has no relationship with Slot now.
And he's not sure what will happen when he's away at afcon, and he'll be soaking it in v Brighton with family over. A reasonable person would call a suggestion he won't be back at LFC. As he has done before, more out than in, as I recall most recently.

I can think of other ways for Salah to have helped Slot out in the press zone

And I've already replied above. Maybe you can explain if this proposed benefit in kind from Salah is exclusive to Slot, or not...

    Salah.....
"I’m very, very disappointed to be fair. I have done so much for this club down the years and especially last season.

"Now I’m sitting on the bench and I don’t know why. It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus. That is how I am feeling. I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame.

"I got a lot of promises in the summer and so far I am on the bench for three games so I can’t say they keep the promise.

"I said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager, and all of a sudden we don’t have any relationship.

"I don’t know why but it seems to me, how I see it, that someone doesn’t want me in the club.

"This club, I always support it. My kids will always support it. I love the club so much I will always do. I called my mum yesterday – you guys didn’t know if I would start or not, but I knew.

"Yesterday I said to them, come to the Brighton game. I don’t know if I am going to play or not but I am going to enjoy it.

"In my head, I’m going to enjoy that game because I don’t know what is going to happen now.

"I will be in Anfield to say goodbye to the fans and go the Africa Cup of Nations. I don’t know what is going to happen when I am there."

Isn't the new complaint that we spent too much money last summer and brought in too many new players? Make your minds up FFS.

Jokestrap, Jokestrap - to whom are you referring..?

I have maintained all along - we’ve spent a pittance - only went big this summer in a blind panic because we’ve been counting pennies

Since your 2018 defender stat we've won 2 Premier Leagues, the Champions League, 2 League Cups, the FA Cup, the Super Cup and a World Club Cup.

    This is too easy.
