Obviously not. Maybe it is fitness but you can see the difference between him and Ekitike.
Ekitike is a much better allround player and looks far more comfortable running with the ball at his feet. Isak like quite a few is taking an extra touch and despite looking busy on that front line isn't being affective enough when we don't have the ball.
Hopefully it'll come for him eventually.
Imagine Diaz and Ekitike in the same front 3..... Oh well - what might have been. Maybe we do something to replace him now?
He isn’t strong enough, can’t get hold of it and link it, has poor link up play, poor in the press, doesn’t make runs as good as Ekitike’s even
Give him time and work with him on those things he’ll learn a lot watching Ekitike and Chiesa who was one of our best players today based on the quality and number of his contributions in his time on the pitch
Dementia would be a decent addition but he’s not Diaz class who wasn’t Mane class we need to find a very special player from somewhere as Gakpo will never be a world beater he’s second tier good squad player material not that main man you want as a starter every game Diaz was getting back to that and we sold him, fucking madness
Yep just saw Slots post match Presser on BBC - he said a few times today he saw Hugo and thought -"wow" he looks so much quicker than many other players on the pitch...
Now forgive me... but has he actually been watching our players this season?
I mean ....? Very strange comment.. I love his honesty but maybe save it from live TV.. sounds like he isn't even out on the training ground at all with some of his comments
If he can refine his passing he'll be a phenomenal player for us.
Isak just needs to stay further forward. Absolutely pointless him dropping off into midfield.
Not seeing any big chances being created by Wirtz here
3 by Mo including an assist
2 by Ekitike
2 by Chiesa
Robbo releases Chiesa to set up Mo
And that’s just the highlights
