Well cheers for a link but it's not very detailed on running stats.
Take us 3rd bottom of the league for distance covered per 90.
Omg![]()
3rd bottom LFC just over 96 km per 90 mins.
Cituae top for distance covered per 90.
Almost 104 km per 90 mins.
Arsenal 2nd say 103 km per 90.
Breaking down the stat..
You have 10 outfield players run 100 km in 90 minutes. Thats 10 km each.
Our 10 are running just over 9.6 km each.
Cituae run almost 10.4 km each.
Arsenal run 10.3 km each.
In the past covering sprints & high intensity running. Typically our lads do about 1 extra high intensity sprint each per 90 minutes.
Cituae/StokeMinor do a little more high intensity running than us. The 2nd highest level of running intensity.
They cover a couple of hundred metres more than us per game.
This is largely down to our higher intensity pressing style.
So 9.6km might not be that different to last season at all for us.
On this season, I've heard TAW cover some of our running stats and their suggestion is we are running as much as last year but not converting it to tackles & intercepts at the same rate.
We have a higher intensity playing style?
Not seeing it.
Oh no, that’s ruined my entire Christmas break, being insulted by the biggest idiot on the internet.
Wirtz doing it at home against 2 point Wolves does NOT make him worth Ł100m.
He still has a lot to do.
