Not really being fair though is it. Before KO yesterday the geezer had been given 151 minutes since the opening game of the season back in August - it's 2026 in a few days. He's barely featured at all. 88'th minute sub here - games where the team were gone there.. It's been a joke the spread of minutes he has had. And when called upon he has delivered plenty relative to the time given him.
He very likely saved Slot's job.. He isn't what he was and he isn't really what we needed BUT he has been treated poorly by Arne and IF you expected him to get a first start after that amount of bench warming - and blow us all away... perhaps you are delusional.
