16 just 2 days before the season kicked off. Too young to buy a beer.
48 minutes combined this season and has 1 as many goals to his name as Florian… The winner on the toon.
Think - (hope) - when Kev says ‘upgrade’ he means - a more senior player. Which wouldn’t be unfair. Currently it’s Gakpo or a child.
well we need a option, obviously rio is to young to be given a chance by the looks of things if he can't get much of a look in now, and he's very raw as expected...... p.s some of the top players was class at 17
Like I said, not saying we should sign him but who knows if we can get him at a decent price when wolves go down, might not be a bad shout- and could be sold for profit further down the line if it doesn't work out.
need to look to the future Ian, doubt chiesa & Salah will be here much longer, but never fear, at least we have Gakpo!
That's the world we live in unfortunatly. Make something up for clicks and likes.
I'm not even referring to sacking the manager but the recruitment, where the manager has no say. If we were going that route we are in seriously trouble. Manager and upper management need to be aligned, especially when it comes to recruitment.
Never understood that model myself, managers need to get who they want for how he wants the team to play.... that's smalltime club shit in my opinion... he needs to make the choices, he needs to setup the team, he needs the player he needs...imagine being a manager and just having random players shoved on you without you even having much of a say.. that's not healthy.
Isn't that the model in most American sports? Management trade Ayers without coaches knowing it's happening at times. And now there are many American owners in the Premier league. So not surprised if it goes on here.
I don't agree with it. They need alignment on specific positions and attributes for the player wanted. Then have a list of targets that suits that.
