Indeed, its because he had so much time on the ball in Germany. hes being very neat and clever. You don't get half a second in the premier league, before someone is up your back. he loses the ball more than anyone because of that reason.Hes got to learn to be quicker and more decisive. or he won't make it here

Stop with the offside goal. Of it was offside it would be offside.

He does take too many touches, BUT he was also the one trying to get on the as much as possible. He was trying to get things going. No runners off him.

He needs to be quicker, 100%. Plus he needs to cut off the needless flicks.
But to say he was poor today, I would disagree. He tried to get things going.

I keep hearing he’s better off the left , but he seems lost out there a bit , I do believe if he’s going to really take off he needs to be more central and for the wide players and strikers to be making runs he can see and try to put balls into , I wonder what he be like behind a front three of salah firmino and mane , the runs they used to make he would be in fantasy land

I agree. He looks out of place on the left. Maybe he's just helping the team for the time being while we deal with injuries. There's no way he plays there full time. I think he'll be great in the number 10 role so long as we have a few decent players around him.

I think the main thing we lack in the squad is lightning speed .i have said this forever on this forum , of course they have to be good footballers but I would love all of the front three to be blessed with searing pace , I believe if you had Wirtz in a central role with players who are able to just take off and he can put the ball in the space , probably why I’m a little disappointed to see semenyo not being targeted , and why I don’t like seeing gakpo out there .
